A 200 kVA Blackwell silent generator now backs up life-safety systems at a UNIQLO store in a major Greater Manchester shopping centre.
The requirement
A UNIQLO store in one of Greater Manchester's largest shopping centres needed dependable standby power for its life-safety systems, suited to a busy retail setting.
Survey and sizing
Our engineers surveyed the site and assessed the electrical loads, starting currents and step loads before choosing a set. The result pointed to a 200 kVA Blackwell silent diesel generator.
Installation
We carried out the installation and connected the generator into the store's standby arrangements. The acoustic canopy keeps noise down while the set stands ready for any mains failure.
Why sizing matters
